Terms are Michaelmas (winter); Hilary (spring) and Trinity (summer). Michaelmas term begins on the first or second Wednesday in September and lasts for 15 weeks; Hilary term is 11 weeks long and Trinity term is 12 weeks (the length of the latter two can be affected by the date on which Easter falls).
