School Council
The School Council is composed of boys (one representative elected per term from each form) and meets once a term under the chairmanship of a senior boy. Representatives are asked to gather up to four realistic suggestions from their form as to ways in which the school might be improved; these suggestions form the basis of the agenda.
Boys present their ideas to the meeting and they are voted on (often, with surprising results!). The boys’ suggestions are presented to the Headmaster who, after consulting with his colleagues, will frequently act upon them.
