We keep these to the minimum. Apart from the rules concerning attendance at school (see also Illness) and birthday parties, we have the following rules: -

school uniform is compulsory
- boys must wear the prescribed footwear, unless there is a medical reason
why not

hair must not be over the collar
- boys must wear helmets when cycling to or from school and never ride their
bicycles within the school grounds
- boys may not bring rollerblades or skateboards to school
-
watches, if worn, should have an analog face – no digital watches please
- toys, sweets, food or money should never be brought to school
-
Mobile telephones are prohibited in school
- boys must always report to a member of staff before leaving the premises
- any offence against the dictates of common sense is a breach of school rule
