Routines
Routine is all important with children of this age. Do tell the form teacher or tutor, via the diary if appropriate, if there is anything which has caused a change in the routine at home which might affect a boy at school – for example, visitors, business trips, change of au-pair, builders, etc. It makes it so much easier if we know about these things, however trivial; boys often worry about them tremendously, but may go to great lengths to conceal it from their parents. The Headmaster or Matron is always available to discuss with parents any private or confidential matters they do not wish to discuss with anyone else.
