Northcote Lodge is a Christian school and all boys are expected to take part in the religious activity of the school. As well as regular RS (Religious Studies) lessons there is a daily morning Assembly which takes the form of a simple act of worship. Once a week the boys go to St Michael’s Church, Bolingbroke Grove, for a short church service which is taken by the School Chaplain. The school observes all the main events in the Christian calendar. We cater for Roman Catholics, who form 20-30% of the school.
We accept boys from faiths other than Christian, providing their parents are happy for them to attend Assemblies and church services without it causing any difficulties.
All boys are required to purchase a School hymn book for daily use.
