Who to ask? It depends on the nature of the query of course, but in general parents should ask:
- the
form teacher
or
tutor (who knows the boys best) if it’s anything of a routine nature, or concerns a boy’s progress or wellbeing, academic or otherwise
- the
Director of Studies for anything to do with curriculum matters
- the
Deputy Headmaster for guidance on school policies; for more serious concerns or problems; for complaints; or for anything which for any reason they prefer not to discuss with the form teacher
- the
Headmaster for anything really serious and for anything concerning the choice of public school. Also, for any personal and private matter parents wish to discuss
-
Matron, for anything to do with health, hygiene and nutrition and for advice on any confidential matter
- the
School Office for anything to do with general administration, admissions and registrations enquiries, dates, uniform, etc
- the
Finance Office for anything to do with money, fees or deposits
- the
F
orm Representative for anything which may involve the Parents Association (but we again emphasise that this does not include complaints)
If the query does not fit into any of the above categories, we suggest parents speak to the School Office which is most likely to know the answer!
