All equipment that a boy brings to school must be clearly marked; this applies especially to watches, pens and spectacles. Boys are actively discouraged from bringing expensive and valuable possessions into school – there is a high probability of them being lost or damaged, and the School will accept no responsibility for loss or damage to such items.
Boys should not bring to school any electronic equipment – for example, CD players, pocket tape recorders, personal organisers – without having first obtained permission from the Headmaster or Deputy Head. Certain boys with special educational needs, however, may use their laptops and spellcheckers for academic work.
Mobile telephones are not permitted in school.
