Matron keeps basic medical records for the boys, as well as the name and telephone number of every boy’s doctor. It is essential that we know of any problem that a boy had at birth or since, as it may affect his learning; there is a comprehensive medical information form to be filled out for all boys joining the school and we ask parents to give us as much information as possible. New boys’ hearing, sight and speech are tested during their first year.
We undertake to administer boys’ medicines providing these are accompanied by the appropriate written request; please ask the office for a copy of the school’s policy on medicines.
Boys should return to school after illness with a letter of explanation to the form teacher.
