Matron
We employ a full-time Matron who is in overall charge of the boys’ health and welfare. She also oversees various household matters including all matters relating to nutrition. Her office is in the Health Centre, and she attends to all minor illnesses and injuries that occur on school premises.
A part of Matron’s role is to provide counselling, and she is available to any boy (or parent) who simply wants to have a chat, no matter what the subject. She has a particular role in PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education) which touches on such areas as relationships, sex education, citizenship and drugs.
