Boys generally leave from Form 5 at 13+. The majority of boys go on to one of the well-known public schools, mainly boarding. Each October the Headmaster gives a general talk to all parents of Form 2 (9 year old) boys about public schools and invites them to arrange an appointment during the following two terms to discuss possible choices of public school.
The Headmaster maintains close links with public schools and visits them regularly. Full information, regularly updated, is kept for a wide range of schools and is available on request from the Headmaster’s secretary.
