Drama forms a part of the English programme. All Shell and Form 2 parents have several opportunities a year to see their boys in productions, either in a termly form Assembly or in the annual Shell and Form 2 drama evenings. In Forms 3, Remove and 5, as well as form Assemblies, there are various productions throughout the year, for which boys audition, involving different forms, sometimes with the participation of girls from Broomwood Hall. Most productions are held in the gym which converts into a mini-theatre.
There is also a drama club, providing talented boys with plenty of opportunities to extend their repertoire. Visiting companies come once or twice a year to give performances, and there are a number of theatre excursions throughout the year.
