All boys are issued with one of these at the start of each term. It is the principal means of day-to-day communication between school and home and should be used as such. Parents should check it every evening for messages, and should write in it any reply or comment. We especially wish to be told about anything which might affect a boy’s performance – unsettled night, builders, moving house, etc – and also about any special arrangements – e.g. at
collection time if a boy is to go home with someone else. The diary is also used for details of
Prep assignments. Parents should initial the diary each evening, adding comments as appropriate.
