Competitions
A competitive spirit is encouraged. Boys play team games four days a week and there are numerous inter- house and inter-school matches at every level for each age group. Official whole school competitions take place throughout the year in e.g. Public Speaking, Poetry, Reading and Class Singing. In addition there is a wide range of individual competitions in other areas; e.g. chess, karate, music. Cups or prizes may be awarded for many of these.
There is a termly house point competition (see also Houses) and a “Gold Star” competition, based on the number of individual house points gained.
