The charity aims to raise money to retrain and further educate injured servicemen and women so that they can return either to military or civilian life and still feel they are making a contribution. So far they have had an expedition to the North Pole and they are planning an assault on Everest next year. For each expedition, injured soldiers, including amputees are chosen. Many of you will have seen the programme “Harry’s Arctic Heroes” which so vividly documents the expedition to the North Pole.

We are in the process of arranging a presentation at the school with Ed Parker, one of the founders, and expedition leader to the North Pole. The opportunity to hear about the team’s experiences 1^st hand should be invaluable to the boys.
