Entrance Procedures
We accept 40 boys each year into Form 1 (8 years old). The usual time of entry is September following their 8th birthday, but boys may join the school at any time after that providing there is space in the appropriate form. Parents interested in Northcote Lodge should complete a Registration Form and return it with a cheque for £50.00 made payable to Northcote Lodge. Approximately one year before their proposed entry, boys will be asked to sit a short entrance test and have an individual interview with the headmaster, This procedure is intended to ensure that Northcote Lodge is the right school for a particular boy, Before the test and interview, parents are asked to pay a non refundable registration fee. Parents should note however that registration of a boy does not guarantee the offer of a place. Places will be offered as soon as possible after the interviews. Upon acceptance of a place a deposit is payable, of which one-half is refunded against a boy's first term's fee account, with the remainder being returned (less any outstanding fees or extras) at the end of a boy's time in the school, providing the correct notice has been given
